Getting started is easy! Create your band, add songs to your repertoire, and build your first setlist. The Band Plan helps you organize everything you need for rehearsals and gigs in one place.
Read Full Getting Started Guide →Click "Bands" in the navigation, then "Create New Band". Enter your band name and basic information. You can add members, set up your public profile, and customize your band's settings.
Read Full Guide: Creating Your Band →You can add songs individually from your band page, or import multiple songs at once from a Google Doc or Google Spreadsheet. Each song can include title, artist, key, tempo, and links to audio, videos, or chord charts.
Read Full Guide: Adding Songs →You can create setlists in three ways: (1) Create an empty setlist and add songs manually, (2) Import from a Google Doc or Google Spreadsheet using the Quickset form - perfect for quickly creating setlists from existing song lists, or (3) Copy an existing setlist. Once created, organize songs into sets (Set 1, Set 2, Encore, etc.) and reorder as needed.

Create gig documents (chord charts and lyrics) directly in The Band Plan. Record individual songs and promote them as reference recordings. Link songs to album tracks.

You can record full sets, split them into individual songs, and use the Setlist Player to skip songs or promote recordings.

Log every interaction (email, phone, text) and watch opportunities progress from prospecting to booked. When booked with a date, a gig is automatically created.

Add details like start/end times, ticket prices, links, and posters. Link gigs to setlists for easy access during performances. Gigs appear on your band calendar and public profile.

After recording, you can normalize the audio for consistent volume, trim the start/end points, and promote the recording as a reference recording or add it to an album. Reference recordings appear as audio links on your song pages.

Recordings automatically stop after 4 hours and are saved to your browser - you can upload them later even if you return after 24 hours. After recording, normalize for consistent volume, then split the recording into individual songs using the waveform editor. Use the Setlist Player to play through all songs, skip unwanted songs, and promote individual splits as reference recordings.

Read Full Guide: Recording Ideas →Check your storage usage on your profile page. Free accounts get 8GB. Pro and Premium accounts get more storage, and storage pools across all your bands. Delete old recordings you no longer need, or upgrade your plan for more space. Large files (300MB+) should be normalized before uploading.
