Frequently Asked Questions

Free tier: Each user gets 8GB across all their bands. Bands with all free members are capped at 8GB total (non-pooled).

Pro/Premium: Your storage quota spreads across all your bands. When multiple paid members are in the same band, their quotas stack! For example, if two Pro members (20GB each) are in a band together, that band gets 40GB total.

It's collaborative! One Pro member in your band upgrades the whole band's storage and album limits.

You'll keep access to Pro/Premium features until the end of your billing period. After that, you'll move to the Free plan. Your data stays safe - you'll just need to manage storage within the 8GB free limit.

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan anytime from your profile page. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Bands are your groups - you can have up to 3 on the Free plan. Albums are published music releases for your fans. Free tier gets 3 published albums per band, Pro gets 10 per band, and Premium gets unlimited!

No! If even one band member has Pro, the entire band gets Pro features for that band (10 albums, pooled storage). Pro members can be in multiple bands and their quota spreads across all their bands. It's designed for collaboration!

The Free plan is generous and includes most features! You can start free and upgrade anytime. We may offer trials for paid plans in the future.

TheBandPlan was originally made to help create setlists for your band. That feature and some others will always be unlimited and free. And it's an awesome feature that you can use every week in rehearsal and on stage to create your setlists and then have the Music Stand Documents you can follow along with your lyrics and chords for all the songs in your set, the Youtube playlist for your set, the audio file playlist and more.

If you don't need to record using our site and don't need to have us host your recordings and aren't using us to host a bunch of Albums, you can get by for free.
